Sunday Mornings: Biscuits & Gravy

Blake and I are always very into breakfast. It's not unusual for us to eat pancakes for dinner once a week. We're just beginning to have morning frosts, and during the fall & winter, Blake spends his Sunday mornings playing hockey. By the time he gets back, I'm usually ready with breakfast. Our usual meal usually consists of the simple pleasures, eggs, bacon, and potatoes, but today I decided to switch it up.
I'm always on board with homemade and baked from scratch food, but lets be real, you don't always have time or energy for that.  That's why Bisquick is one of my favorite "cheats." These biscuits I made simple since I was going to drowned them in sausage gravy. The nice thing about these bisquick biscuits is that you can get as creative as you'd like with them.

I followed this Pioneer Woman  (AKA food blogger God) to make the sausage gravy and it was easy and delicious! So delicious, I didn't even take the time to get a picture of it before Blake and I inhaled all of it's goodness! Of course we had left overs, which I was not at all upset about either!

Try it out and let me know what you think!
