Blake and I took a quick trip to Pittsburgh to visit family, and so that we could make a trip to his family's property. We love to visit and we couldn't wait to take Emmy. The property is huge and is surrounded by gorgeous valleys of changing leaves. The Amish buggies always bring a smile to my face, and I love how gorgeous it seems each and every time we visit.
As per usual, we took a hike up to the gas wells, and Emmy loved exploring the paths. Blake and I drove to the neighboring "city" to pick up some homemade cheese and an Amish made bird house for our back yard. The drive through beer store was far too tempting to pass up, so we of course drove through and picked up an ice cold pack of Labatt to relax after our long excursion. Needless to say, the pup passed out immediately after getting into the car.
Blake and I like to drive down and plan our pretend future, where we have our custom built "tiny house" up on the property, can wake up on a crisp fall morning, drink a cup of coffee, and watch the pup romp around the field!
What a great trip!! E is getting SOME big! Xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteConnie, she is huge now!!!!!
DeleteYour little dream at the end sounds absolutely beautiful. Coffee, pup, what more could you need?
ReplyDeleteIt is beyond gorgeous. The pictures don't do it justice, and fall is the absolute best time to visit. Is there really anything else we need in life other than coffee and pets? haha.
